QCLAB can be used for rapid prototyping and testing of\nquantum algorithms, and allows for fast algorithm development and discovery.\nQCLAB provides I/O through openQASM making it compatible with quantum hardware.\nFurthermore, QCLAB can draw circuit diagrams to the MATLAB command window\nand save the circuit diagrams to LaTeX source files. Please refer to the \n`examples/` directory for example use cases.\n\n### How to run? ###\n\nThe QCLAB Toolbox is implemented using MATLAB object oriented functionalities\nand is compatible with MATLAB R2020b or newer.\n\n1. Clone repository:\n\n git clone https://github.com/QuantumComputingLab/qclab.git\n\n2. Add all files from qclab directory to MATLAB path to install QCLAB:\n\n\t\taddpath(qclabroot);\n\t\tsavepath;\n\n3. Run tests in MATLAB:\n\t\t\n\t\tcd test/\n\t\trunTests.m\n \n4. Generate documentation with doxygen. Requires [doxygen](https://www.doxygen.nl/index.html) and [doxymatlab](https://github.com/simgunz/doxymatlab). Adjust tags `FILTER_PATTERNS` and `FILTER_SOURCE_PATTERNS` in `doxygen/Doxyfile.dox` to local `m2cpp.pl` script.\n\t\n\t\tcd doc/doxygen/\n\t\tdoxygen Doxyfile.dox\n\n## Developers \n- [Daan Camps](http://campsd.github.io/) (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory) - dcamps@lbl.gov\n- [Sophia Keip](https://www.fernuni-hagen.de/MATHEMATIK/DMO/mitarbeiter/keip.html) (FernUniversität in Hagen) - sophia.keip@fernuni-hagen.de\n- [Roel Van Beeumen](http://www.roelvanbeeumen.be/) (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory) - rvanbeeumen@lbl.gov\n\n## Recent Releases\n- v1.1.1\n - Bugfix for `objectFlattened` function of `QCircuit`\n - Improved docstrings for quantum gates\n- v1.1.0\n - Introduced `MatrixGate` and `MCMatrixGate`\n - Improved performance using sparse matrices\n\n## Funding\nThe QCLAB project is supported by the Laboratory Directed Research and\nDevelopment Program of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory under U.S.\nDepartment of Energy Contract No. DE-AC02-05CH11231.\n\n\n## About\nQCLAB Copyright (c) 2021, The Regents of the University of California,\nthrough Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (subject to receipt of\nany required approvals from the U.S. Dept. of Energy).
