It is recommended you install [NVM](https://github.com/nvm-sh/nvm) and a compatible node version in order to create the documentation.\n\n```\nnvm install 8\nnvm use 8\n```\n\nTo run docpad after cloning this repo\n\n```\nnpm install -g docpad@6.79.4\ndocpad install;\n```\n\nThen finally to start the server\n```\ndocpad run\n```\n\n### Generating Semantic UI for Docs\n\nAssuming two sibling folders:\n\n1. UI folder ./ui\n2. Docs folder ./docs\n\n* Clone both repos to respective folders\n* npm install in both directories\n* Go through Semantic UI installer steps (auto)\n* In `./ui` folder `gulp build-docs` (builds files to ./docs)\n* In `./docs` folder `docpad install` then `docpad run`\n* Go to http://localhost:9778/ docs should be there\n* Optionally run `gulp serve-docs` in ./ui to serve any changes from ./ui/src to ./docs\n\n### Running the Server\n\nStart the docs server (and generate docs):\n\n```\n# run from inside docs folder that will now contain the compiled docs\n# windows users can then navigate to http://localhost:9778\ndocpad run\n```\n\n\nWatch for changes from your UI folder, and serve to the docs instance:\n\n```\ngulp serve-docs\n```\n\n### Publishing to GitHub Pages\n\nYou can publish your docs to GitHub Pages from the command line automatically\n```\ndocpad deploy-ghpages --env static\n```\n\n\n## Help Fix Typos and Errors\n\nIf you find any typos or mistakes, submitting a fix is easy!\n\n- [Open the `documents/` folder](https://github.com/Semantic-Org/Semantic-UI-Docs/tree/master/server/documents) on GitHub\n- Click the “Edit” button on the appropriate page\n- Click to submit a pull request\n\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2FSemantic-Org%2FSemantic-UI-Docs","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2FSemantic-Org%2FSemantic-UI-Docs","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2FSemantic-Org%2FSemantic-UI-Docs/lists"}
