ntlm_auth\n\n## Description\n\n\n`ntlm_auth.abcdesktop.path` is a patch to add sso using file credentials to ntlm_auth binary.\n\n`ntlm_auth` is used by firefox to get credentials from kubernetes secrets \n\nThis patch uses a ramdom key NTLM_KEY and a hard coded key.\nYou must change the hard coded key value then you build ntlm_auth.c\nThe password is encrypted with RC4 128 bits key (GNUTLS_CIPHER_ARCFOUR_128)\nEach ntlm_auth call create a different key value NTLM_KEY.\nThe NTLM_KEY is encrypted with the hard coded key\n\nMake the ntlm_auth chmod to 111.\n\n\u003e Remember that this is only a patch to make it works\n\n## apply the patch to samba utils ntlm_auth.c source code\n\nFirst get the samba source code\n\n``` bash\napt-get source samba\n```\n\nTo apply the patch run the `patch ntlm_auth.c ntlm_auth.abcdesktop.patch` command\n\n``` bash\ncp ntlm_auth.abcdesktop.patch samba-4.15.13+dfsg/source3/utils\ncd samba-4.15.13+dfsg/source3/utils \u0026\u0026 patch ntlm_auth.c ntlm_auth.abcdesktop.patch\n```\n\n## Files credentials \n\nThe default secrets directory is `/var/secrets/abcdesktop/ntlm`\n\n- `abcdesktop` is the namespace of abcdesktop.io projet\n- `ntlm` is the name of the ntlm secrets direcotry. ntlm secrets are created by this patched ntlm_auth command line \n\n### to create files credentials\n\n### create NTLM_DOMAIN and NTLM_USER files\n\nCreate NTLM_DOMAIN and NTLM_USER files\n\n``` bash\necho YOUR_DOMAIN \u003e /var/secrets/abcdesktop/ntlm/NTLM_DOMAIN\necho YOUR_SAMACCOUNTNAME \u003e
