MoneyGo\n\n**MoneyGo** is a personal finance web application written in JavaScript and\nGolang. Here is how in\nArch Linux:\n\n\tsudo pacman -S npm curl go python\n\nInstall browserify globally using npm:\n\n\tsudo npm install -g browserify\n\nYou'll then want to build everything (the Golang and Javascript portions) using\nsomething like:\n\n\texport GOPATH=`pwd`\n\tgo get -d github.com/aclindsa/moneygo\n\tgo generate -v github.com/aclindsa/moneygo/internal/handlers\n\tgo generate -v github.com/aclindsa/moneygo\n\tgo install -v github.com/aclindsa/moneygo\n\nThis may take quite a while the first time you build the project since it is\nauto-generating a list of currencies and securities by querying multiple\nwebsites and services. To avoid this step, you can `touch\nsrc/github.com/aclindsa/moneygo/internal/handlers/cusip_list.csv` before\nexecuting the `go generate ...` command above. Note that this will mean that no\nsecurity templates are available to easily populate securities in your\ninstallation. If you would like to later generate these, simply remove the\ncusip_list.csv file and re-run the `go generate ...` command.\n\n## Running\n\nMoneyGo requires HTTPS or FCGI (no HTTP). Before starting the server, you will\nwant to edit the example configuration file\n(src/github.com/aclindsa/moneygo/internal/config/example_config.ini) to point to\nyour own SSL certificate/key OR set 'generate-certs-if-absent = true' in the\n'[http]' section of the config file.\n\nThen, assuming you're in the same directory you ran the above installation\ncommands from, running MoneyGo is as easy as:\n\n\t./bin/moneygo -config src/github.com/aclindsa/moneygo/internal/config/example_config.ini\n\nYou should then be able to explore MoneyGo by visiting https://localhost:8443 in\nyour browser.
