These agents can scrape, fill out forms, and interact with websites or local apps. It helps:\n- Developers who want to build their own computer use / operator experience\n- Developers who want to automate workflows in desktop applications with poor / no APIs (super common in industries like supply chain and healthcare)\n- Developers who want to automate workflows for enterprises with on-prem environments with constraints like VPNs, firewalls, etc (common in healthcare, finance)\n\n--- \n\n# Quick Start\n\n1. **Clone this repository** (if you haven’t already):\n   ```bash\n   git clone https://github.com/aditya-nadkarni/spongecake.git\n   cd spongecake\n   ```\n2. **Run the setup script**:\n   ```bash\n   chmod +x setup.sh  # May be required on Unix/macOS\n   ./setup.sh\n   ```\n3. **Run the backend and frontend**:\n\n    In the spongecake directory, run:\n    ```bash\n    cd spongecake-ui\n    cd frontend\n    npm run dev\n    ```\n    In a new terminal, run:\n    ```bash\n    cd spongecake-ui\n    cd backend\n    python server.py\n    ```\n\u003e **Note:** This deploys a Docker container in your local Docker environment. No identifying information is collected.
