This collection is maintained by the Alibaba Cloud team.\n\n\u003ca href=\"https://shell.aliyun.com/?action=git_open\u0026git_repo=https://code.aliyun.com/labs/tutorial-cli-ansible.git\u0026tutorial=tutorial-zh.md#/\" target=\"try_ansible_in_cloudshell\"\u003e\n  \u003cimg src=\"https://img.alicdn.com/tfs/TB1wt1zq9zqK1RjSZFpXXakSXXa-1066-166.png\" width=\"180\" /\u003e\n\u003c/a\u003e\n\n## Python version compatibility\n\nThis collection requires Python 3.6 or greater.\n\n## Installing this collection\n\nYou can install the Alibaba Cloud collection with the Ansible Galaxy CLI:\n\n1. create a `requirements.txt` file with the following:\n   ```yaml\n   collections:\n     - name: https://github.com/alibaba/alibaba.alicloud.git\n       type: git\n       branch: master\n   ```\n2. running the commond to install alibaba.alicloud using `requirements.txt` file:\n   ```shell\n   ansible-galaxy collection install -r requirements.txt\n   ```\n\n## Using this collection\n\nYou can either call modules by their Fully Qualified Collection Namespace (FQCN), such as `alibaba.alicloud.ali_vpc`, or you can call modules by their short name if you list the `alibaba.alicloud` collection in the playbook's `collections` keyword:\n\n```yaml\n---\n- name: Using module alibaba.alicloud.ali_vpc\n  hosts: localhost\n  remote_user: root\n\n  vars:\n    name: \"ansible-testacc-ali_vpc-module\"\n    vpc_cidr: \"172.16.0.0/12\"\n    vpc_description: \"Create a new VPC resource via Ansible example alicloud-ecs-vpc.\"\n\n  roles:\n    - vpc\n\n  tasks:\n    - name: Create a new vpc with user_cidrs\n      alibaba.alicloud.ali_vpc:\n        cidr_block: '{{ vpc_cidr }}'\n        vpc_name: '{{ name }}-user_cidrs'\n        description: '{{ vpc_description }}'\n        user_cidrs:\n          - 172.16.100.0/24\n          - 172.16.101.0/24\n```\n\n## plugins/modules\nThere are several files in the module directory, and these files describe some function that can operate alicloud products.\n\n- `ali_instance.py`: Create, Start, Stop, Restart or Terminate an Instance in ECS. Add or Remove Instance to/from a Security Group\n- `ali_disk.py`: Create, Attach, Detach or Delete a disk in ECS\n- `ali_security_group.py`: Create or Delete a Security Group\n- `ali_vpc.py`: Create or Delete a Vpc.\n- `ali_vswitch.py`: Create or Delete a VSwitch.\n- `ali_route_entry.py`: Create or Delete a route entry.\n- `ali_slb_lb.py`: Create or Delete a Load balancer.\n- `ali_slb_listener.py`: Create or Delete a listener for one Load balancer.\n- `ali_slb_server.py`: Add or Remove backend server to/from Load balancer.\n- `ali_ess_group.py`: Create or Delete a scaling group.\n- `ali_ess_configuration.py`: Create or Delete a scaling configuration.\n- `ali_ess_instance.py`: Add or Remove ECS instnaces in a specified scaling group.\n- `ali_ess_task.py`: Create or Delete a scheduled task for scaling activity.\n- `ali_ess_rule.py`: Create or Delete a scaling rule.\n- `ali_eni.py`: Create or Delete a network interface.\n- `ali_bucket.py`: Create or Delete an OSS bucket.\n- `ali_bucket_object.py`: Upload or Download an object to/from an OSS bucket.\n\n## lib/ansible/module_utils\nIn the module utils directory, the file alicloud_ecs.py identifies and gains playbook params, and provides this params to modules/*.py.
