Linux kernel\n\nРеализовать символьный драйвер предлагающий возможность передавать информацию двум независимым процессам через файл символьного устройства: \n\n - взаимодействие должно осуществляться по принципу кольцевого буфера;  т.е. один процесс может писать в файл символьного устройства, а другой из него читать. \n\n- обеспечить возможность задавать размер кольцевого буфера через механизм параметров модулей ядра; \n\n- по умолчанию вызовы чтения и записи должны быть блокирующими; \n\n- обеспечить поддержку нескольких вызовов IOCTL: \n  \n  - переключение режима работы вызовов read\\write из блокирующих \\ не блокирующих и обратно; \n  \n  - обеспечить возможность получения информации о времени последней операции чтения и записи в буфер, а так же идентификаторов и владельцев процессов совершивших эту операцию;\n  \n  - драйвер должен собираться вне дерева исходных кодов ядра при помощи Makefile; \n \n - исходные коды драйвера должны находиться под системой контроля версий git и содержать историю коммитов; \n \n - результат передаётся в виде ссылки на репозиторий размещённый на github или в виде архива содержащего репозиторий с исходными кодами.\n\n## Installation\n\nClone this repository\n```shell\ngit clone https://github.com/alkuzin/linux_driver.git\n```\n\nMove to project directory and run build driver:\n```shell\ncd linux_driver/ \u0026\u0026 make all\n```\n\nInitialize driver (root rights required):\n```shell\nmake init\n```\n\nInitialize driver with custom size of ring buffer (1024 bytes by default):\n```shell\nsudo insmod src/linux_driver.ko buffer_size=\u003ccustom buffer size\u003e\n```\n\nTo deinitialize driver (root rights required) run:\n```shell\nmake deinit\n```\n\nTo return project to original state:\n```shell\nmake fclean\n```\n\n## Test\n\nTo check that driver loaded successfully:\n```shell\nlsmod | head -n 2\n```\n\u003cimg src=\"res/lsmod.png\" alt=\"lsmod output\"\u003e\n\nTo see driver logs run:\n```shell\nsudo dmesg | tail\n```\n\u003cimg src=\"res/driver_logs.png\" alt=\"driver logs\"\u003e\n\nTo test driver run:\n```shell\nmake make_test\n```\n\nThen move to `test/` directory and run `reader` and `writer` in separate terminals:\n```shell\ncd test/ \u0026\u0026 ./reader\n```\n```shell\ncd test/ \u0026\u0026 ./writer\n```\n\nTo return project test to original state:\n```shell\nmake clean_test\n```","funding_links":[],"categories":[],"sub_categories":[],"project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Falkuzin%2Flinux_driver","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Falkuzin%2Flinux_driver","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Falkuzin%2Flinux_driver/lists"}
