My progress in R and Statistics so far:\n1. In my undergraduate days I developed an R package [\"fitODBOD\"](https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/fitODBOD/index.html) to fit over-dispersed binomial outcome data through various distributions. Recently an Rshiny application named [fitODBODRshiny](https://amalan-con-stat.shinyapps.io/fitodbodrshiny/) was developed for this package.\n2. For the Olympic data I built an [Rshiny application](https://amalan-con-stat.shinyapps.io/OlympicRshiny/)  and is available as an R package [OlympicRshiny](https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/OlympicRshiny/index.html).\n3. Scraped data from pdf files and built several [csv files](https://github.com/Amalan-ConStat/PresidentialElection) that include data for the Sri Lankan presidential election results and is now available as an R package [SLPresElection](https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/SLPresElection/index.html).\n4. The script data from the tv show \"Southpark\" was scraped from its [wikia website](https://southpark.fandom.com/wiki/South_Park_Archives) and IMDB website. The resultant data was developed into an [R package](https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/SouthParkRshiny/index.html), [Rshiny](https://amalan-con-stat.shinyapps.io/SouthParkRshiny/) application was developed.\n5. Hosted my previous [personal website](https://amalan-con-stat.netlify.app/) through the R package blogdown in netlify. Currently, I am using Quarto for a stable [personal website](https://www.amalan-mahendran.com). \n6. As a post-graduate student, I developed scalable methods for regression problems under big data, see the package [\"NeEDS4BigData\"](https://cran.r-project.org/package=NeEDS4BigData) for more details.\n7.
