This repository describes a quick life hack that I recently learned.\n\nGMail will deliver mail addressed to \"yourself+*tag*@gmail.com\" as though it was\naddressed to \"yourself@gmail.com\". Every time when you have a new idea, you can\njust email it to yourself+idea@gmail.com. \n\nIf you also set up GMail filters, you can mark these emails as \"read\" and apply labels to them:\n\n![demo](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/anvaka/send/master/media/send-idea.gif)\n\n## How to bookmark an email on your phone?\n\nIt depends on your phone. iPhone, unfortunately, does not let you to \"pin\" a single email to\nthe home screen. So I made [a website](https://anvaka.github.io/send/), that has just\none button. When clicked - it opens your email client.\n\n![email bookmark on home screen](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/anvaka/send/master/media/save-idea-bookmark.png)\n\nYou can design the name of the button and email address. The website gives you a link\nthat can be added to home screen\n\n![design email bookmark](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/anvaka/send/master/media/design-idea-bookmark.gif)\n\n*Note:* The website does not track you and never sends your email anywhere. In fact,\nit uses a hash tag to store your email address. Hash tags are not sent to the server,\nso even GitHub will not know your email from bookmarked URL.\n\n## How to make a GMail filter\n\n1. Open an email, and select \"Filter messages like this\"\n2. Follow throught the screen to create a filter. Click on \"Create filter with this search\"\n3. Select label that you want to apply\n\n![Create Filter](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/anvaka/send/master/media/create-filter.gif)\n\n# Thanks!\n\nI hope you like this small tip.
