For more informations how to configure your machine visit [Yocto project page documentation](https://docs.yoctoproject.org/index.html)\n\n### Using [kas](https://kas.readthedocs.io/en/latest/intro.html)\n\nClone required layers\n\n```bash\nkas checkout meta-astertom/kas-rpi.yml\n```\n\nBuild `astertom-core-image\n\n```bash\nkas build meta-astertom/kas-rpi.yml\n```\n\n### Manual\n\nAccording to yocto manual:\n\n- Clone all required layers inside some directory\n- Clone meta-aster layer inside the same directory\n- Create build directory\n- Configure `bblayers.conf` file with proper paths\n- Configure `local.conf` file according to your need\n- For configuration files examples form `examples` directory of this layer can be used\n\n## Building image and sdk\n\nSource environment script\n\n```bash\nsource [path_to_cloned_layers]/poky/oe-init-build-env [path_to_build_directory]\n```\n\nBuilding default image\n\n```bash\nbitbake astertom-core-image\n```\n\nBuilding sdk\n\n```bash\nbitbake astertom-core-image -c populate_sdk\n```\n\n```Note: All output files are located in default locations inside build directory```\n\n## Additional informations\n\n- By default building process is configured to use [icecream](https://github.com/icecc/icecream) distributed compilation to use more machines to speed up build process.
