The material\nreproduces many of the figures from the book `Statistics, Data Mining, and\nMachine Learning in Astronomy`, and therefore organized in topics following\nthe chapters. We focused on the later chapters that\nhave actual applications using astronomical data.\nNarrative commentary is provided, however some sections maybe less\nself-explanatory without the book as a reference.\nThe table of contents of the book can be found on the main astroML webpage, `www.astroml.org`.\n\n\nContributing\n^^^^^^^^^^^^\n\nContributions are welcome in the form of pull requests.\n\nThis repository uses Jupytext and MyST Markdown Notebook to generate static\nhtml pages.
