For usage see the [acap-native-sdk-examples](https://github.com/AxisCommunications/acap-native-sdk-examples)\n\u003e repo.\n\u003e - The ACAP Computer Vision SDK has been archived as its components have been refactored:\n\u003e utility libraries and scripts are now available in [ACAP Runtime](https://github.com/AxisCommunications/acap-runtime).\n\u003e For usage of the new setup, see the [examples](https://github.com/AxisCommunications/acap-computer-vision-sdk-examples)\n\u003e repository.\n\n## Mission\n\nOur mission is to provide an excellent development experience by enabling developers\nto build new AI/ML applications for a smarter and safer world.\n\n## Axis video analytics example applications\n\nVideo analytics ensures that video surveillance systems become smarter,\nmore accurate, more cost-effective and easier to manage. The most scalable\nand flexible video analytics architecture is based on ‘intelligence at the\nedge’, that is, processing as much of the video as possible in the network\ncameras or video encoders themselves.\n\nThis not only uses the least amount of bandwidth but also significantly reduces\nthe cost and complexity of the network. Open application development platforms\nsuch as Axis Camera Application Platform (ACAP) facilitate the integration of\ncompatible third-party solutions, resulting in a quickly growing variety of\napplications – general as well as specialized for different industries. The\ngrowing number of video analytics applications creates new end-user benefits\nand opens new business possibilities.\n\n## Getting started\n\nThis repository contains a set of application examples which aims to enrich the\ndevelopers analytics experience. All examples are using Docker framework and has a\nREADME file in its directory which shows overview, example directory structure and\nstep-by-step instructions on how to run applications on the camera.\n\n## Requirements\n\n### Supported architectures\n\nThe examples support the following architectures:\n\n* aarch64\n\n### Required components\n\nThe example applications make use of two special components:\n\n* [Docker ACAP](https://github.com/AxisCommunications/docker-acap) needs to be installed and running on the Axis device. It's required to deploy and run the example application.\n* [ACAP runtime](https://github.com/AxisCommunications/acap-runtime) is used in a few examples to get access to [APIs](https://developer.axis.com/acap/api/computer-vision-sdk-apis). ACAP Runtime is a container image and the example applications will pull it from Docker Hub when starting.\n\n## Example applications\n\nBelow is a list of examples available in the repository:\n\n* [hello-world-python](./hello-world-python/)\n * A Python example which builds a simple hello-world application.\n* [minimal-ml-inference](./minimal-ml-inference/)\n * A Python example to build a minimal machine learning inference application.\n* [object-detector-python](./object-detector-python/)\n * A Python example which implements object detection on a\n video stream from the camera.\n* [opencv-qr-decoder-python](./opencv-qr-decoder-python/)\n * A Python example which detects and decodes QR codes in the video stream using OpenCV.\n* [parameter-api-python](./parameter-api-python/)\n * A Python example which reads camera parameters using the beta version of the Parameter-API.\n* [pose-estimator-with-flask](./pose-estimator-with-flask/)\n * A Python example which implements pose estimation on a video stream from the camera, and publish the output on a video stream using flask.\n* [web-server](./web-server/)\n * A C++ example which runs a Monkey web server on the camera.\n\n## How to work with Github repository\n\nYou can help to make this repo a better one using the following commands.\n\n1. Fork it (git checkout ...)\n2. Create your feature branch: git checkout -b \u003ccontr/my-new-feature\u003e\n3. Commit your changes: git commit -a\n4. Push to the branch: git push origin \u003ccontr/my-new-feature\u003e\n5.
