This\nformat allows content in a Backdrop site to be easily used as a data source for\nSemantic Web clients or web mash-ups.\n\nA JSON data document will render the nodes generated by a view as a\nserialization of an array of Javascript objects with each object's properties\ncorresponding to a view field.\n\nJSON data documents are available in following formats:\n\n- Simple JSON - just plain-vanilla JSON serialization\n- Simile/Exhibit JSON - the serialization format used by the Exhibit web\n  app - http://simile.mit.edu/exhibit/\n- JqGrid\n- Backdrop autocomplete\n\n## Installation\n\n- Install this module using the official \n  [Backdrop CMS instructions](https://docs.backdropcms.org/documentation/extend-with-modules)\n- In the Views UI set the view style (in Format section) to JSON data document\n  to render as Simple JSON or Simile/Exhibit JSON.\n- In the view format settings choose the options or vocabulary for your format.\n- Add the fields to your view that contain the information you want to be\n  pulled into the format renderer. All formats will output the fields\n  recognized as belonging to that format.\n- That's it! The rendered view will be visible in the preview and at your\n  view's page display path.
