Once you're familiar with that process, you may install this plugin with this command:\n\n```shell\nnpm install grunt-cordova-app --save-dev\n```\n\nOnce the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:\n\n```js\ngrunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-cordova-app');\n```\n\n## The \"cordova_app\" task\n\n### Overview\nIn your project's Gruntfile, add a section named `cordova_build` to the data object passed into `grunt.initConfig()`.\n\n```js\ngrunt.initConfig({\n  cordova_app: {\n    options: {\n      path: 'tmp/cordova',\n      clean: false,\n      config: 'test/fixtures/cordova.json'\n    }\n  }\n});\n```\n\n### Options\n\n#### options.clean\nType: `Boolean`\nDefault value: `false`\n\nSpecifies whether to clean before build.\n\n#### options.config\nType: `String`\nDefault value: `[generated from pkg]`\n\nAn object or source-file containing config options. source can be json or xml.\n\n#### options.hooks\nType: `Object`\nDefault value: `{}`\n\nAn object containing functions to be called at certain hooks in the build process. Currently supported are `beforeBuild` and `afterBuild`.\n\n\n#### options.path\nType: `String`\nDefault value: `'cordova'`\n\nAn object or source-file containing config options. source can be json or xml.\n\n### Target flags\n\nIf you run task without any target-flags, the application will be built from scratch completely.\n\n#### cordova_app:clean\nCleans up the build path.\n\n#### cordova_app:create\nCreates a new cordova-app on the build path.\n\n#### cordova_app:config\nWrites out config file and sets up platforms and plugins.\n\n#### cordova_app:build\nBuilds the application. Arguments: --platform [platform]\n\n#### cordova_app:run\nRuns the application. Add unit tests for any new or changed functionality.
