GPC compare two groups of observations\n(intervention vs. control group) regarding several prioritized\nendpoints. The net benefit, win ratio, and Mann-Whitney parameter can\nthen be estimated and corresponding confidence intervals and p-values\ncan be estimated using resampling methods or the asymptotic\nU-statistic theory. The software enables the use of thresholds of\nminimal importance difference, stratification, and corrections to deal\nwith right-censored endpoints.\n\nThe Generalized Pairwise Comparisons form all possible pairs of\nobservations, one observation being taken from the intervention group\nand the other is taken from the control group, and compare the value\nof their endpoints.\n\nIf the difference in endpoint value between the two observations of\nthe pair is greater than the threshold of clinical relevance, the pair\nis classified as favorable (i.e. win). If the difference is lower than\nminus the threshold of clinical relevance the pair is classified as\nunfavorable (i.e. loss).  Otherwise the pair is classified as\nneutral. In presence of censoring, it might not be possible to compare\nthe difference to the threshold. In such cases the pair is classified\nas uninformative.\n \nSimultaneously analysis of several endpoints is performed by\nprioritizing the endpoints, assigning the highest priority to the\nendpoint considered the most clinically relevant.
