It is lacking a lot in terms of\ndocumentation and styling.\n\nThis is cookbook with wrapper recipes to complete Rackspace's customer\nWordPress deployment. Two versions of this deployment can be found here:\n\n\n[multi](https://github.com/rackspace-orchestration-templates/wordpress-multi)\n[single](https://github.com/rackspace-orchestration-templates/wordpress-single)\n\nWe aim to use as many community and public cookbooks as\npossible to make this happen. This cookbook can be used to stand up a server\nwith Apache, PHP, MySQL, Varnish, vsftpd, hollandbackup, and lsync installed.\nIt will create a local user that can be used to move content via scp, sftp, or\nftp/ftps.\n\ntodo\n====\n* Provide documentation mapping out how attributes are consumed.\n* Add tests\n* Adding contribution guidelines\n* Add support for CentOS\n\nrequirements\n============\nThis cookbook is designed to be used on a Rackspace Cloud Server. All cookbooks\nshould work with Chef 11+ on Ubuntu.\n\nrecipes\n=======\n#### apache-prep\nUpdates parameters for Apache automatically based on the size of the server.\n\n#### apache\nUpdates the WordPress Apache configuration in case the port used is not 80.\nCreates SSL configuration if a cert and key are provided.\n\n#### apache-prep\nAdjusts Apache attributes based on the size of a server.  This should be put in\nbefore `wordpress::default` in your run list.\n\n#### default\nDoes nothing\n\n#### firewall\nOpens the firewall for http and potentially https traffic, typically run last.\n\n#### lsyncd-client\nCreates the .ssh directory for the WordPress user, installs the public SSH key.\n\n#### lsyncd\nCreates the .ssh directory for the WordPress user, installs the SSH private\nkey.\n\n#### memcache\nInstalls and configures PHP's memcache module\n\n#### memcached-firewall\nConfigures the firewall on the memcached server. Memcached requires no\nauthentication, so it's best to lock down access to the service.\n\n#### mysql\nSets up /root/.my.cnf\n\n#### user\nCreates the admin user account, allowing the user to bypass the web installer.\n\n#### varnish\nSwaps out the default vcl with a vcl tailored for use with WordPress.\n\n#### vsftpd\nHandles additional configuration of vsftpd. Setup will setup FTPS and will\nallow both FTP and FTPS by default.\n\n#### wp-setup\nPerforms the initial install steps and creates the WordPress admin user.\n\n#### x509\nInstalls SSL certs or generates self-signed certs if none are provided.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fbrint%2Frax-wordpress-cookbook","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fbrint%2Frax-wordpress-cookbook","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fbrint%2Frax-wordpress-cookbook/lists"}
