Past that, snuffle and\r\nunsnuffle should be perfectly portable.\r\n\r\nOn this Sun 4, snuffle and unsnuffle encrypt between two and three times\r\nslower than crypt(1). However, they provide a lot more security.\r\n\r\nsnuffle is public domain. Send any comments to the newsgroup sci.crypt,\r\nwhich the author reads whenever possible. I do *not* know whether\r\nsnuffle is legally exportable; it contains no encryption technology, but\r\nI'm not going to try sending it outside the United States.\r\n\r\nStart by making symbolic links or copies of snefru's hash512.o,\r\nsboxes.o, snefru.h, and patchlevel.h in this directory. Then edit the\r\noptions in the Makefile and compile.
