(2021) Investigating Why\n\u003e Academically Successful Community College Students Leave College\n\u003e without a Degree\n\n## To run\n\nThere are two options to run. After cloning the repository and adding\nnecessary data (see below), either:\n\n1. Navigate to the top-level of the project directory and use the\n`makefile`\n\n``` shell\ngit clone https://github.com/btskinner/investigating_mrp_rep.git\ncd investigating_mrp_rep\nmake\n```\n2. Run the following scripts in order from the `./scripts/r`\n   directory:\n   \n   1. `get_packages.r`\n   1. `get_data.r`\n   1. `make_mrp_data.r`\n   1. `fit_stan.r`\n   1. `poststratify.r`\n   1. `make_figures.r`\n   1. `make_tables.r`\n   1. `checks.r`\n\nAnd then compile the tables and figures in the `docs` directory using:\n\n``` shell\nlatexmk -pdf -silent tables_figures.tex\n```\n\n## Data\n### Restricted (requires permission)\nThe following restricted data files are required:\n\n1. `analysis_data.dta`\n1. `poststrat_counts.dta`\n1. `full_no_drop_demographics_data.dta`\n1. `main_crosswalk.dta`\n\nTo access these files, see the included file, `ACCESSING_RESTRICTED_DATA.md`.\n\n### Created\nThe following file is created by `get_data.R`:\n\n1. `second_level_df.rds`\n\nA number of intermediate files from IPEDS and the BLS will be\ndownloaded in the process.\n\n\n\n\n","funding_links":[],"categories":[],"sub_categories":[],"project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fbtskinner%2Finvestigating_mrp_rep","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fbtskinner%2Finvestigating_mrp_rep","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fbtskinner%2Finvestigating_mrp_rep/lists"}
