After the data has been successfully scraped, it will be saved into a **JSON** \nfile, from where it can be retrieved and written into an **Excel** file (.xlsx). \n\nAs of 9th of February 2024, \nthe user will interact with the program via a **GUI** created with Tkinter, a more user-friendly solution than\nthe **terminal**.\n\nAs of November, 2024, the project has had its most critical problems fixed and now the application is in a \nfinished state.\n\n[![License: GPL v3](https://img.shields.io/badge/License-GPLv3-blue.svg)](https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0)\n\n❗Note\n---\nThis software might have outdated comments or code that does not fit the standards I have today. Make sure you have installed all\nthe dependencies before using this program!**\n\n⬇️ To quickly install the **dependencies**, run this command:\n\n```pip install -r requirements.txt```\n\nOn top of that, **tkinter** is used. If you use a Debian-based Linux distro, you can install it with\nthe following command:\n\n\n```sudo apt install python3-tk```\n\nAfter the dependencies have been installed, you should be good to go. 👍\n\n🚯Before you scrape\n---\nThis program receives its data through the **GitHub API**. This tool of preservation protects the data from being\noverwritten. You can use the tool by executing **archiver.py**.
