It can be\nviewed offline by installing the `carbs-docs` package. Distribution tarballs\ncome with a prebuilt info page and plaintext pages, so neither `emacs` nor\n`texinfo` is necessary.\n\nYou can view offline documentation by doing one of the following:\n\n    less /usr/share/doc/carbslinux.txt\n\nOr:\n\n    info carbslinux\n\nThere are two packages in the repository for viewing info files, `texinfo` and\n`info`. The `info` package only comes with the statically linked documentation\nreader, so you don't need `perl` to install it.\n\n    cpt-build info carbs-docs\n\n\nTo generate info pages from the git repository, you will need to install\n`texinfo`.
