It uses the [Next.js](https://nextjs.org/) framework with [React](https://reactjs.org/). Check out the tutorial or follow the instructions below to get set up.\n\n## Setup\n\n1. If you don’t have Node.js installed, [install it from here](https://nodejs.org/en/) (Node.js version \u003e= 14.6.0 required)\n\n2. Clone this repository\n\n3. Navigate into the project directory\n\n   ```bash\n   $ cd openai-quickstart-node\n   ```\n\n4. Install the requirements\n\n   ```bash\n   $ npm install\n   ```\n\n5. Make a copy of the example environment variables file\n\n   On Linux systems: \n   ```bash\n   $ cp .env.example .env\n   ```\n   On Windows:\n   ```powershell\n   $ copy .env.example .env\n   ```\n6. Add your [API key](https://beta.openai.com/account/api-keys) to the newly created `.env` file\n\n7. Run the app\n\n   ```bash\n   $ npm run dev\n   ```\n\nYou should now be able to access the app at [http://localhost:3000](http://localhost:3000)!
