This includes capabilities for CSD searching,\nmodel validation, conformer generator and virtual screening. There\nare also components to help in the integration of further Python\nscripts which may use the API.\n\nThe integration works as follows:\n\n- The components found in the CSD Pipeline Pilot (PP)\n  component collection create the necessary input files from the\n  incoming data, and from the parameters on those components.\n\n- The components find the appropriate Python script in the\n component collection; various python scripts are supplied.\n\n- The Run Program on Server component runs the Python\n executable, supplying the script and arguments for that script,\n which produce the output.\n\n- The components then read the file(s) generated by the script,\n performing appropriate merges, joins, etc. to produce a stream\n of data.\n\n## System Requirements and Installation\n\nThe Pipeline Pilot server host must have installed:\n\n- Pipeline Pilot server (version 19.1 or later).\n\n- A 2022 or later release of the CSD, including required licenses.\n\n- The Pipeline Pilot components run under operating systems including Windows Server 2019\nand CentOS 7, although CentOS 8 and RHEL 7 and 8 are also\nexpected to work.\n\n- The minimum specifications for the CSD Python API apply.\n\n- On Linux, the user which the Pipeline Pilot server runs as must\nhave a home directory for the CSD licensing to function.\n\nTo use the Mercury Viewer or Hermes Viewer components, Mercury\nand Hermes must be installed on the client. A free version of\nMercury can be downloaded from the\n[CCDC website](https://www.ccdc.cam.ac.uk/solutions/software/free-mercury/).\n\n## Licensing\n\nThe CSD Pipeline Pilot Component Collection is distributed under the\n[CSD Python API Script Licence v2](https://www.ccdc.cam.ac.uk/script-licence-v2/).\n\n## Documentation\n\nThe CSD Pipeline Pilot Component Collection [User Guide](pipeline-pilot-user-guide.pdf) as of\n2024 is provided as a .pdf.\n\n## Support\n\nThe Support team will provide limited support for the collection until April 2026.\n\n## Acknowledgements\n\nThis collection was developed in partnership with Finia Consulting.\n\nFinia Consulting was founded in 2013 and is a small software\nconsultancy, specialised in using the Pipeline Pilot platform to\ndevelop complex protocols and components including custom\ncomponents developed using Java and C# and can also provide\ncustom and specialized training for the Pipeline Pilot platform. Finia\nConsulting have customers in the life sciences, chemicals and\nacademic sectors.\n\nFinia Consulting may be contacted at:\n[Finia Consulting](http://www.finiaconsulting.com)\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fccdc-opensource%2Fpipeline-pilot","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fccdc-opensource%2Fpipeline-pilot","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fccdc-opensource%2Fpipeline-pilot/lists"}
