People use them as interview prep, company training, university coursework, practice problems, a speed contest, or to challenge each other.\n\n\u003e You don't need a computer science background to participate - just a little programming knowledge and some problem solving skills will get you pretty far. Nor do you need a fancy computer; every problem has a solution that completes in at most 15 seconds on ten-year-old hardware.\n\n\u003e *Eric Wastl, **AdventOfCode.com** (2024)*\n\nIf you're interested, you can find more informations on the [official website](https://adventofcode.com/about)!\n\n\n## Overall achievements\nOnce you've completed a challenge, you're granted a `⭐ STAR`. \\\nThe ultimate goal of the adventure is to **get 50 stars**, each day giving 2 stars at once.\n\n|  Year | Challenges | Stars | Completion | Dedicated page |\n|:-----:|:----------:|:-----:|:----------:|:----------------------------:|\n| 2015  | 5/25 | **10 ⭐** | 20% | (+) LINK |\n| 2024  | 2/25 | **3 ⭐** | 6% | (+) LINK |\n| `TOTAL` | `7/50` | `13 ⭐` | `13%` |  |\n\nIn each dedicated year page, you'll find the additional informations about each programs I've created, including their **individual time of execution**.\n\n\u003e [!IMPORTANT]\n\u003e I comment **A LOT** my programs. I want to make sure I can still understand them after years...\\\n\u003e  So, feel free to give it a look. ;)\n\n\n## Special Thanks\n\n\n### Amazing people!\n- [Eric WASTL](https://was.tl/), for creating [Advent of Code](https://adventofcode.com/) and staying always so creative with it for so many years!\n- [Drazic MARTIN](https://github.com/drazicmartin), for introducing me to the advent of code website and always inspiring me to program ever more *(... also for being such a cool and reliable friend)*.\n\n\n### GitHub resources \n- [Bogdanp](https://github.com/Bogdanp/awesome-advent-of-code) awesome **global advent of code repository list**.\n- [JRomero132](https://github.com/jromero132/advent-of-code)'s advent of code **inspiring markdown homepage**.\n\n\n### Websites\n- [StackEdit.io](https://stackedit.io/), for being such a nice and well tuned MarkDown online editor *(definitely has been used to create everything you've been reading up until now!)*\n- [ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com/), even though I'm not using it to find directly the solution, it's a good friend to have around. \u003e:)\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fceleste-vandamme%2Fadvent_of_code","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fceleste-vandamme%2Fadvent_of_code","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fceleste-vandamme%2Fadvent_of_code/lists"}
