It allows for flexible business logic; provides tools for tax handling,\ncommission calculation etc. It aims to be both developer-friendly and\naccountant-friendly.\n\n## Documentation\n\nDetailed documentation about `invoicing` gem can be found on:\n\nhttps://invoicing.c9s.dev/\n\n## Features\n\n1. Store any number of different types of invoice, credit note and payment\n   record\n2. Represent customer accounts, supplier accounts, and even complicated\n   multi-party billing relationships\n3. Automatically format currency values beautifully\n4. Automatically round currency values to the customary precision for that\n   particular currency, e.g. based on the smallest coin in circulation\n5. Support any number of different currencies simultaneously\n6. Render invoices, account statements etc. into HTML (fully styleable and\n   internationalisable)\n7. Export into the UBL XML format for sharing data with other systems\n8. Provide you with a default Value Added Tax (VAT) implementation, but you\n   can also easily plug in your own tax logic\n9. Dynamically display tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive prices depending on\n   your customer's location and preferences\n10. Deal with tax rates or prices changing over time, and automatically\n    switch to the new rate at the right moment\n11. Efficiently summarise account balances, sales statements etc. under\n    arbitrary conditions (e.g. data from one quarter, or payments due at a\n    particular date)\n\n## TODOs\n\n1. Slowly move away from `acts-as` model.\n2. Multiple taxes can be applied on goodies.\n3. Improve documentation for taxes\n\n\n## Credits\n\nThe Ruby invoicing framework originated as part of the website\n[Bid for Wine](http://www.bidforwine.co.uk), developed by Patrick Dietrich,\nConrad Irwin, Michael Arnold and Martin Kleppmann for Ept Computing Ltd.\nIt was extracted from the Bid for Wine codebase and substantially extended\nby Martin Kleppmann.\n\n## License\n\nCopyright (c) 2009 Martin Kleppmann, Ept Computing Limited.\nCopyright (c) 2014 Codemancers Tech Pvt Ltd\n\nThis gem is made publicly available under the terms of the MIT license.\nSee LICENSE and/or COPYING for details.\n","funding_links":[],"categories":["Invoice","Ruby"],"sub_categories":["European VAT"],"project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fcodemancers%2Finvoicing","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fcodemancers%2Finvoicing","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fcodemancers%2Finvoicing/lists"}
