Contributions are welcome\n\n## Features selection\n\n**Feature selection** – also known as **variable selection**, **attribute selection**, or\n**variable subset selection** – is a method used to select a subset of features (variables,\ndimensions) from an initial dataset. \n\nFeature selection is a key step in the process of building machine learning models and \ncan have a huge impact on the performance of a model. Using correct and relevant features as \nthe input to your model can also reduce the chance of overfitting, because having more relevant \nfeatures reduces the opportunity of a model to use noisy features that don't add signal as input. \n\nLastly, having less input features decreases the amount of time that it will take to train a\nmodel.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fcodeperfectplus%2Fhands-on-machine-learning-with-scikit-learn-tensorflow-and-keras","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fcodeperfectplus%2Fhands-on-machine-learning-with-scikit-learn-tensorflow-and-keras","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fcodeperfectplus%2Fhands-on-machine-learning-with-scikit-learn-tensorflow-and-keras/lists"}
