Transform static logos and images into flowing animations.\n\n![Liquid Logo](assets/siteOGImage4.png)\n![Liquid Logo gif](assets/playstation.gif)\n\n## Live Demo\n\nTry it in real-time in the browser: [Liquid Logo Tool](https://collidingscopes.github.io/liquid-logo)\n\n### Features\n\n- **Upload your own images** or use one of the demo logos\n- **Real-time customization** of key parameters\n- **Export as PNG** or **MP4 video**\n- **Fully client-side processing** - your images never leave your device\n\n## How It Works\n\nThis tool leverages WebGL shaders to create real-time animations that interact with the edges of your logo. It creates flowing patterns that follow the contours of your image, giving a liquid metal aesthetic.\n\nThe animation is powered by a fragment shader that:\n1. Detects the edges of your logo\n2. Generates a vector field around these edges\n3. Applies fluid dynamics and noise to create the flowing effect\n4. Renders with a metallic sheen and customizable color palette\n\n## Technical Details\n\n- **WebGL** for hardware-accelerated graphics rendering\n- **GLSL shaders** for the liquid metal animation effect\n- **Simplex noise** for organic movement patterns\n- **JavaScript** for UI and application logic\n- **HTML5 Canvas** for drawing and video export\n- **MP4 Muxer** for video encoding\n- **dat.GUI** for the control interface\n\n### Usage Guide\n\n1. **Upload an image** of your logo (works best with clean, high-contrast images)\n2. Use the **Randomize** button (🎲) to generate interesting variations\n3. Fine-tune the animation using the **control panel** at the top-right of the page\n4. Export your logo animation as an **image** or **video**\n\n### Keyboard Shortcuts\n\n- **[Space]**: Pause/play the animation\n- **[R]**: Randomize all inputs\n- **[S]**: Save a screenshot\n- **[V]**: Start/stop video recording\n\n## Best Practices\n\n- Use images with **clean edges** and minimal background noise\n- **Experiment with presets** to find the best starting point for your logo\n\n## Installation \u0026 Usage\n\n### Local Setup\n\n1. Clone the repository:\n ```\n git clone https://github.com/collidingScopes/liquid-logo.git\n ```\n\n2. Navigate to the project directory:\n ```\n cd liquid-logo\n ```\n\n3. Run a local server (you can use Python's built-in server):\n ```\n # Python 3\n python -m http.server\n \n # Python 2\n python -m SimpleHTTPServer\n ```\n\n4. Open your browser and navigate to `http://localhost:8000`\n\n\n## License\n\nThis project is licensed under the [MIT License](LICENSE.txt) - feel free to use it for personal or commercial purposes.\n\n## Related Projects\n\nCheck out my other free, open-source creative tools:\n\n- [Particular Drift](https://collidingScopes.github.io/particular-drift): Turn photos into flowing particle animations\n- [Video-to-ASCII](https://collidingScopes.github.io/ascii): Convert videos into ASCII pixel art\n- [Shape Shimmer](https://collidingScopes.github.io/shimmer): Transform photos into funky wave animations\n- [Colliding Scopes](https://collidingScopes.github.io): Create kaleidoscope animations from photos\n- [Force-Field Animation](https://collidingScopes.github.io/forcefield): Generate particle animations from photos\n- [Manual Brick Breaker](https://manual-brick-breaker.netlify.app): Play brick breaker by waving your hands around\n\n## Acknowledgments\n\n- Enormous thanks to [XorDev](https://x.com/XorDev/status/1894123951401378051) on Twitter, whose \"Plasma\" shader work served as a starting point for this tool.\n\n## Contact \u0026 Connect\n\nFeel free to reach out for questions, suggestions, or just to share what you've created!\n\n- [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/stereo.drift/)\n- [Twitter/X](https://x.com/measure_plan)\n- [Email](mailto:stereodriftvisuals@gmail.com)\n\n## Donations\n\nIf you found this tool useful, feel free to buy me a coffee.
