Datadog Event Resource\n\nFetch or emit events to Datadog.\n\n\n## Source Configuration\n\n* `application_key`: *Required.* The application key to use when accessing Datadog.\n\n* `api_key`: *Required.* The api key to use when accessing Datadog.\n\n* `filter`: *Optional.* Regexp to filter events by title when checking.\n\n* `datadog_host`: *Optional.* Datadog host url to switch from US to Europe datacenter, default to US.\n\n\n## Behavior\n\n### `check`: Listen for events in the event stream from the last 32 days.\n\nDetects new events that have been published to the Datadog event stream within the last 32 days.\n\n\n### `in`: Fetch an event\n\nPlaces the following files in the destination:\n\n* `event.json`: The event fetched, as JSON. Based on the [Datadog API](http://docs.datadoghq.com/api/?lang=console#events-post)\n\n#### Parameters\n\n**Required**\n\n* `title`: The event title. Limited to 100 characters.\n\nOne of the following:\n\n* `text`: Static text for the body of the event. Environment variables can be used here to show the build metadata. Please refer to the [Concourse documentation](https://concourse-ci.org/implementing-resource-types.html#resource-metadata) for a list of allowed variables.\n\n* `text_file` Path to a file containing text for the body of the event. This allows the message to be generated by a previous task step in the Concourse job.\n\nLimited to 4000 characters. Options: nagios, hudson, jenkins, user, my apps, feed, chef, puppet, git, bitbucket, fabric, capistrano\n\n\n## Example Configuration\n\n### Resource\n\n```yaml\nresource_types:\n- name: datadog-event\n  type: docker-image\n  source:\n    repository: concourse/datadog-event-resource\n\nresources:\n- name: datadog-event\n  type: datadog-event\n  source:\n    api_key: API-KEY\n    application_key: APPLICATION-KEY\n    filter: \"event-.*-regexp\"\n```\n\n### Plan\n\n```yaml\n- get: datadog-event\n```\n\n```yaml\n- put: datadog-event\n  params:\n    title: Did you hear the news today?\n    text: Oh boy!\n    priority: normal\n    tags:\n    - environment:test\n    alert_type: info\n```\n\n## Development\n\n### Prerequisites\n\n* golang is *required* - version 1.12.x is tested; earlier versions may also\n  work.\n* docker is *required* - version 18.09.x is tested; earlier versions may also\n  work.\n\n### Running the tests\n\nThe tests have been embedded with the `Dockerfile`; ensuring that the testing\nenvironment is consistent across any `docker` enabled platform.
