Please report unacceptable\n\u003e behavior to [conduct@creativecommons.org](mailto:conduct@creativecommons.org)\n\u003e per our [reporting guidelines][reporting_guide].\n\n[code_of_conduct]: https://opensource.creativecommons.org/community/code-of-conduct/\n[reporting_guide]: https://opensource.creativecommons.org/community/code-of-conduct/enforcement/\n\n\n## Contributing\n\nSee [`CONTRIBUTING.md`](CONTRIBUTING.md).\n\n\n## Workflow\n\n1. Gather information via Google Forms.\n2. Review and copy-edit that information in Google Sheets.\n3. Create a new git branch\n4. Update the data in `jekyll/_data` by running:\n    ```\n    ./scripts/overwrite-data.sh\n    ```\n5. Commit the resulting changes to git\n6. Build content\n    ```\n    ./scripts/build.sh\n    ```\n7. Commit the resulting changes to git\n8. Push changes and create a GitHub pull request\n\nWhen working with countries, make sure to use the same name for the country in\nall the spreadsheets. For the purposes of this project, a \"Country\" is\nsomething that is named in http://jvectormap.com/maps/world/world , mentioned\nbelow. This means that (for example) we must use \"United Kingdom\" rather than\n\"Scotland\" or \"Wales\". Where \"Jurisdiction\" is an option this can be used to\nmore accurately describe the resource's origin. I (RobM) apologize for this.\n\n\n## Spreadsheets\n\nThere are three sets of spreadsheets\n\n\n### Google Form Results\n\nThese are the results of people completing the Google Forms. Pay special\nattention to whether the contributor has selected the option to receive credit\nor not\n\n\n### Google Sheets\n\nThese are the Google sheets that details are copied to from the Results\nspreadsheets and given editorial attention on.\n\nDo not copy the contributor's name into these if they have not selected the\noption to receive credit.\n\nTo export data from these sheets, run `./scripts/overwrite-data.sh` as\ndescribed above.\n\n\n### CSV Documents in `_data`\n\nThese are the CSV (Comma Separated Values) format spreadsheets in\n`jekyll/_data` that we use to build the pages.\n\nApart from countries.csv, do not edit the content of these files, rather edit\nthe Google Sheets then export them and copy them into position.\n\n\n### countries.csv\n\n`jekyll/data/countries.csv`\n\nThe list of countries we have data for. If a country is not listed here, its\ndata will not be used.\n\n\n#### code\n\nThe uppercase two-letter code for the country (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2). See\nhttp://jvectormap.com/maps/world/world/ .\n\n\n#### country\n\nThe name of the country. This should be in English. See\nhttp://jvectormap.com/maps/world/world/ .\n\n\n#### notes\n\nOptional text to be included in the country page.\n\n\n## Used Software\n\n- https://jekyllrb.com/\n- https://github.com/avillafiorita/jekyll-datapage_gen\n- http://jvectormap.com/\n\n\n## License\n\n\n### Code\n\n- [`LICENSE`](LICENSE) (Expat/[MIT][mit] License)\n\n[mit]: http://www.opensource.org/licenses/MIT \"The MIT License | Open Source Initiative\"\n\n\n### Content and Data\n\n[![CC BY-SA 4.0 license button][cc-by-sa-png]][cc-by-sa]\n\nThe content and data are licensed under a [Creative Commons\nAttribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License][cc-by-sa].\n\n[cc-by-sa-png]: https://licensebuttons.net/l/by-sa/4.0/88x31.png#floatleft \"CC BY-SA 4.0 license button\"\n[cc-by-sa]: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ \"Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License\"\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fcreativecommons%2Freversionary-rights","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fcreativecommons%2Freversionary-rights","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fcreativecommons%2Freversionary-rights/lists"}
