It enables site administrators to track and analyze visitor behavior within their Omeka sites seamlessly.\n\n## Features\n\n- Adds Matomo tracking code to all public-facing Omeka pages.\n- Tracks user interactions and provides insights through the Matomo dashboard.\n- Customizable tracking settings within the configuration panel.\n\n## Requirements\n\n- **Omeka Classic**: Version 2.0 or higher.\n- **Matomo Analytics**: A running instance of Matomo, either self-hosted or via Matomo Cloud.\n\n## Installation\n\n1. Clone or download this repository to your local system.\n2. Upload the plugin folder to the `/plugins` directory of your Omeka Classic installation.\n3. Install the plugin via the Omeka plugin panel.\n4. Configure the plugin by entering your **Matomo instance URL**  and **Site ID**.\n   - Your Matomo instance URL (e.g., `https://analytics.example.com`).\n   - Your Site ID from Matomo (found in the Matomo admin panel under **Settings \u003e Websites**).\n   - Optional: Customize tracking options:\n      - Track visitors across all subdomains\n      - Prepend the site domain to the page title when tracking\n      - In the \"Outlinks\" report, hide clicks to known alias URLs of this site\n      - Track users with JavaScript disabled\n      - Track custom variables for this visitor *\n      - Enable client side DoNotTrack detection\n      - Disable all tracking cookies\n      - Disable Campaign Parameters Tracking\n      - Use custom query parameter names for the campaign name and keyword *\n\n_(* Not working at this time)_\n\n## Usage\n\nOnce configured, the plugin will automatically inject the Matomo tracking code into your Omeka site's public theme.
