You can take inspiration but not have the exact same challenge.\n\nThe following are the categories of challenges that are to be made:\n\n- Pwn\n- Web\n- OSINT\n- Linux\n- Crypto\n- Forensics\n- Reversing\n- Miscellaneous\n\n### Installation\n \n1. Clone the repo\n```sh\ngit clone https://github.com/csivitu/ctf-challenges.git\n```\n\n## Template\n\n### Flag Format\n\n- The flags must be enclosed in `csictf{}`.\n- They can have numbers, alphabets, `_`s, `'`s, `!`s, `.`s, `+`s, `-`s, `@`s, `#`s, `$`s, `%`s, `:`s, `\u003e`s.\n- They must be related to the challenge.\n- They must not be so simple that you can guess them.\n\nHere's a regex for the flag format.\n\n```\n/^csictf{[\\w_!@#?$%\\.'\"+:-\u003e]{5,50}}$/\n```\n\nHere's a sample flag.\n\n```\ncsictf{th1s_i5_4_s4mpl3_fl4g'+!-.@#$%?}\n```\n\n### Directory Structure\n\nThe following are guidelines for creating challenge folders.\n\n- Each challenge has it's own folder, which is placed in the relevant directory amongst the ones enlisted above.\n- Each challenge **must** have a `README.md` file describing how to solve the challenge, along with the relevant code / files that needs to be run / deployed on the server.\n- The flag must be present in the `README.md` for the challenge.\n- We prefer having each challenge in it's own docker container, so that it's simple to deploy.\n\n```\n- pwn/\n  - n00binary/\n    - static/\n      - img1.png\n    - README.md\n    - n00binary\n    - n00binary.c\n    - Dockerfile\n- web/\n  - localize/\n    - README.md\n    - localize.php\n    - Dockerfile\n```\n\n\u003e The static folder contains images that may be used in the `README.md`.\n\n### Template for Challenge README\n\nAs mentioned earlier, each challenge requires a `README`. The README must be written in such a way that this can serve as an **official write-up** later. This should have the following format.\n\n```\n# Challenge Name\n\nAuthor: [author](https://github.com/author)\n\n## Description\n\nBrief Description about challenge\n\n## Requirements\n\n- Docker: [Dockerfile](./Dockerfile)\n\n## Sources\n\n- [sample.py](./sample.py)\n- [sample.txt](./sample.txt)\n\n\u003c!-- Remove this comment, and the '\\' before '```' --\u003e\n\\```\nChallenge description to go up on the website.\n\nHint 1: If any - Points 100\nHint 2: If any - Points 200\n\\```\n\n## Exploit\n\n\u003c!-- Much more detailed description than the following. --\u003e\nReverse `sample.py` to decrypt the flag in `sample.txt.`\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\nThe last line should be the flag.\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\nThe flag is:\n\n\\```\ncsictf{some_flag_here}\n\\```\n```\n\n\u003e Refer to this [sample](https://github.com/csivitu/CTF-Write-ups/tree/master/HSCTF%207/Binary%20Exploitation/boredom#exploitation) for writing the exploit section.\n\n### challenge.yml\n\nEvery challenge must have a `challenge.yml`, in the format specified in [challenge-example.yml](./challenge-example.yml). This is **MANDATORY**, without this the challenge will not be deployed. Remove the comments in the specified format, leave out the `value`, `decay` and `minimum` keys as they are in the template. Every challenge has 500 points initially and decays to 100 points over 450 solves.\n\n### Dockerfiles\n\nHere are some Dockerfiles you can refer to while making your own. Make sure you test it locally before making the PR.\n\n- [Node.js Server](./web/File20%Library/Dockerfile)\n- [Flask Server](./web/Mr.20%Rami)\n- [Netcat to Python](./miscellaneous/Prison%20Break/Dockerfile)\n- [Pwn Binary](./pwn/pwn%20intended%0x1/Dockerfile)\n\nMake sure you read the `Dockerfile`s and include the necessary files like the `flag.txt`. **REMEMBER TO ADD THE `README.md` and `challenge.yml` FILES TO `.dockerignore`, BECAUSE IT HAS THE SOLUTION.**.\n\n\u003c!-- CONTRIBUTING --\u003e\n## Contributing\n\nBesides contribution of challenges, contribution of *ideas* for challenges is also appreciated.
