To compile it, \n- clone CloudCompare from [https://github.com/CloudCompare/CloudCompare](https://github.com/CloudCompare/CloudCompare)\n- follow the instructions to compile CloudCompare [here](https://github.com/CloudCompare/CloudCompare/blob/master/BUILD.md)\n- clone this repository in the `CloudCompare/plugins/3rdparty` directory\n- re-run CloudCompare's cmake\n- turn on `PLUGIN_3RDPARTY_QSOLIS` in your cmake options\n- build CloudCompare\n\n## Use Solis in CloudCompare\n\nThe plugin is available through the GUI in \u003ePlugins \n\nThe plugin can also be accessed through the [CloudCompare commandline](https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/index.php?title=Command_line_mode): \n\nCommand |\tDescription\n------------ | -------------\n`-SOLIS`     | *Runs the SOLIS plugin* \u003cbr /\u003e Optional settings are:\u003cbr /\u003e `-TYPE`  [value]: one of 'DIRECT' 'DIFFUSE' 'ALL' \u003cbr /\u003e `-LAT`  [value]: latitude (degree N)\u003cbr /\u003e`-LON`  [value]: longitude (degree E) \u003cbr /\u003e `-ELV`  [value]: elevation (m)\u003cbr /\u003e `-DOY`  [value]: Doy of Year (with fractional time) \u003cbr /\u003e `-INT`  [value]: Integrate over x hours (hours).
