It is intended\nprimarily to help retrofit existing LED lamps, giving them switching and dimming\nfunctionality through a web browser or home automation system.\n\nThe project is based around the ESP8266-01 module as it is widely available,\nsmall, very cheap, easily programmable, and directly connects to your existing\nwifi network.\n\nThe included electronics files (schematic and PCB layout) are designed in KiCad.\n\nAn RS-232 USB-to-serial convertor is required for programming. If you use this\nadaptor to power the device while programming, it must output 3.3V (not higher).\n\n\n## Specifications\n\n * Input voltage: **3.3 – 15V**\n * LED PWM dimmer frequency: **1000 Hz**\n\n\n## Components (BOM)\n\n * ESP8266-01 module\n * AMS1117 3.3V voltage regulator, SOT-223 package\n * BCP53 transistor, SOT-223 package\n * 2 × SMD SPST switches, ~6mm wide × ~3mm deep\n * Row of 4 header pins\n\n\n## Renderings\n\n![PCB rendering (front)](images/pcb_render_front.png)\n\n![PCB rendering (Back)](images/pcb_render_back.png)\n\n\n## Schematic\n\n![Schematic](images/schematic.png)\n\n\n## Overview of the layers used for PCB production\n\n![PCB layers](images/pcb_layers.png)\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fdamianmoore%2Fwifi-lamp","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fdamianmoore%2Fwifi-lamp","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fdamianmoore%2Fwifi-lamp/lists"}
