Eventually DST-Guides will close.\n\nIn the interim we ask all new developers; permanent or contractor to check out both repos before they start working. If anything is duplicated or inconsistent between the two, SDS takes precedence.\n\n## Introduction\n\nThese guides relate to the work of Digital Service Teams (DST) in the Environment Agency who are building new [Digital by default](https://www.gov.uk/service-manual/digital-by-default) services.\n\n## Guides\n\n- [Applications](/applications)\n  - [Error Notifications](/applications/error-notifications.md)\n  - [Software Libraries](/applications/software-libraries.md)\n  - [Continuous Integration for Ruby based projects](/applications/ruby_based_ci.md)\n  - [Working with engines in Ruby on Rails](/applications/ruby-engines.md)\n- [GitHub](/github)\n  - [New projects](/process/new_projects.md)\n- [Process](/process)\n  - [Releases](/process/releases.md)\n  - [Accessibility](https://github.com/DEFRA/qa-test/wiki/Accessibility)\n- [Services](/services)\n  - [Apply for a standard rules waste permit](/services/wp)\n  - [Submit your flood or coastal erosion risk management project proposal](/services/pafs)\n- [Style](/style)\n  - [JavaScript](/style/javascript.md)\n  - [Markdown](/style/markdown.md)\n\n## About\n\nThey cover processes, decisions, how-to's and notes. They are intended to help with onboarding new team members, provide details for contributors, and are part of our efforts to keep our work consistent across the services and projects we build and maintain.\n\nIt has been produced as a series of markdown files to make the process of adding and maintaining the documentation as simple as possible. Nothing is fixed and anything documented here is open to change.\n\nIt is maintained under source control to cater for this, allowing anyone to make suggestions for improvement via the standard [pull request process](https://help.github.com/articles/using-pull-requests/).\n\nIt is pushed to GitHub to make it publicly accessible and to render the content in a presentable format.\n\nIt is heavily inspired by the work of [ThoughtBot](https://github.com/thoughtbot/guides).\n\n## Contributing to this project\n\nPlease read the [contribution guidelines](/CONTRIBUTING.md) before submitting a pull request.\n\n## License\n\nTHIS INFORMATION IS LICENSED UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF THE OPEN GOVERNMENT LICENCE found at:\n\n\u003chttp://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/doc/open-government-licence/version/3\u003e\n\nThe following attribution statement MUST be cited in your products and applications when using this information.\n\n\u003eContains public sector information licensed under the Open Government license v3\n\n### About the license\n\nThe Open Government Licence (OGL) was developed by the Controller of Her Majesty's Stationery Office (HMSO) to enable information providers in the public sector to license the use and re-use of their information under a common open licence.\n\nIt is designed to encourage use and re-use of information freely and flexibly, with only a few conditions.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fdefra%2Fdst-guides","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fdefra%2Fdst-guides","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fdefra%2Fdst-guides/lists"}
