The site is served as static content to keep\nmaintenance costs low, to improve performance, and to increase security.\n\nThis project uses an AGPL license to ensure that it will always be available for\nthose who need it.\n\n## Development\n\nUse Docker to run the site with [Hugo](https://gohugo.io/installation/).\n[Docker Desktop](https://www.docker.com/products/docker-desktop/) is the easiest\nto use on all platforms. Make sure you have pulled submodules for templates.\n\n```\ngit submodule update --init\ndocker compose up\n```\n\nThe site will immediately start and you can view it at http://localhost:1313\n\nYou can validate pages via the `./validate-path.sh` script by passing in a path\nto a page or a file path in the `content/` directory.\n\nThe site will be built into the `public` directory, which can be served via\nnginx or Apache. See the rest of the\n[Hugo documentation](https://gohugo.io/documentation/)\nfor knowledge on how to build sites with Hugo.\n\nYou can validate pages via the `./validate-path.sh` script by passing in a path\nto a page or a file path in the `content/` directory. Files will be pulled in\nfrom the `public` directory for validation.\n\n## Deployment\n\nJust run `./deploy.sh` on a server, which is what GitHub actions will execute on\nthe Dense Analysis host.
