preinstalled and configured to extend a full-fledged application. Download Laravel-QuickStart \nChoose your preferred method\n- Download [Zipped Archive](https://github.com/developervijay7/laravel-quickstart/archive/refs/heads/main.zip).\n- Clone from GitHub \u003ccode\u003egit clone https://github.com/developervijay7/laravel-quickstart.git\u003c/code\u003e\n\n### 2. Setup .env file\nLaravel-QuickStart has a **.env.example** file in the root of the project.\n\nRename **.env.example** to **.env**  make sure that the **.env** file must be in root directory. \nOpen **.env** file in your preferred choice of editor and add database credentials.\n\nDatabase configuration\n\n```dotenv\nDB_CONNECTION=mysql\nDB_HOST=127.0.0.1\nDB_PORT=3306\nDB_USERNAME=root\nDB_PASSWORD=password\n```\n\nAlso, don't forget to set up mail configuration.\n\n```dotenv\nMAIL_MAILER=smtp\nMAIL_HOST=mailhog\nMAIL_PORT=1025\nMAIL_USERNAME=null\nMAIL_PASSWORD=null\nMAIL_ENCRYPTION=null\nMAIL_FROM_ADDRESS=\"hello@laravel-quickstart.co\"\nMAIL_TO_ADDRESS=\"${APP_NAME}\"\n```\n\n**Note:** Make sure your operating system is configured to display hidden files to show **.env** file.\n\n### 3. Composer\nIn order to install php [composer]() dependencies you first need to [set up composer on your operating system]().\nOnce your system is compatible with php composer run the following command in your Terminal/ Windows Command Prompt/ Windows powershell/ git bash.\n\n\u003ccode\u003ecomposer install\u003c/code\u003e\n\n### 4. Generate Application Keys\nThis will set your APP_KEY in your **.env** file\n\n\u003ccode\u003ephp artisan key:generate\u003c/code\u003e\n\n### 5. Migrate Database\n\n\u003ccode\u003ephp artisan migrate\u003c/code\u003e\n\nif you also want to import demo users, permissions, and roles run:\n\n\u003ccode\u003ephp artisan db:seed\u003c/code\u003e\n\n\n### 6. NPM/Yarn\nIn order to install JavaScript dependencies in your application you will need to install [Node Package Manager]()\nand optionally you can use [yarn]() to install them.\n\nOnce you have NPM installed run this command\n\u003ccode\u003enpm install\u003c/code\u003e\n\nor if you want to install using yarn run:\n\u003ccode\u003eyarn\u003c/code\u003e\n\n\n### 7. NPM run prod/dev\nIf you are deploying Laravel-QuickStart on your production environment run:\n\n\u003ccode\u003enpm run build\u003c/code\u003e\n\nIf you are deploying it on your local development computer run:\n\n\u003ccode\u003enpm run dev\u003c/code\u003e\n\n### 8.
