Whether you're delving into django CMS for the first time or optimizing your workflow, our template, based on the [django CMS quickstart](https://github.com/django-cms/django-cms-quickstart/) guide, has got you covered.\n\n## Cloud Setup\n\nCreate a [Divio Account](https://control.divio.com/) and choose **django CMS** from the template selection when creating a new application. Alternatively, click the `Deploy to Divio` button above and follow the app creation wizard. Finally, deploy your app to the `test` or `live` environment.\n\nBeware that the **admin** user is not created automatically.\nYou can do so by connecting via SSH and manually run `python manage.py createsuperuser`.\n\nFor in-depth details about Divio Cloud, refer to the [Divio documentation](https://docs.divio.com/introduction/).\n\n## Local Setup\n\nInstall the [Divio CLI](https://github.com/divio/divio-cli) to set up your app locally.\n\nAlternatively, build this app locally using Docker:\n\n1. Ensure [Docker](https://docs.docker.com/get-docker/) is installed and running.\n2. Clone this repository locally.\n3. Build the app with `docker compose build`.\n4. Run the migrations with `docker compose run --rm web python manage.py migrate`\n5. Create a superuser with `docker compose run --rm web python manage.py createsuperuser`\n6. Run the app using `docker compose up`.\n7. Open [http://localhost:8000]() to view your app.\n","funding_links":[],"categories":[],"sub_categories":[],"project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fdivio%2Fgetting-started-with-django-cms","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fdivio%2Fgetting-started-with-django-cms","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fdivio%2Fgetting-started-with-django-cms/lists"}
