These workshops are two-day events of the DLR software engineering community and\nfocus on different main topics every year. The [Juypter notebook](analysis.ipynb) gives an overview\nabout the basic workshop data and insights into the participant attendance behavior.\n\nThe analysis has been performed on Windows 7 using Python 3 and Jupyter notebook.\nThe analysis code makes use of the libraries [pandas](https://pandas.pydata.org) (BSD 3-Clause License),\n[matplotlib](https://matplotlib.org) (Matplotlib License) and [seaborn](https://seaborn.pydata.org/) (BSD 3-Clause License). \n\n## Using this Jupyter notebook\n\n### Preparation\nWe used Python 3.7.3 on Windows 7. The dependencies are captured in the [requirements.txt](requirements.txt)\nfile which we installed in a Python virtual environment as follows:\n  - `python -m venv env`\n  - `env\\Scripts\\activate.bat`\n  - `pip install -r requirements.txt`\n\n\u003e Currently, there is a bug when activating a virtual environment on Windows operating\n\u003e systems using German localization. Please adapt your `env\\Scripts\\activate.bat` as\n\u003e suggested in the [bug report](https://bugs.python.org/issue34144)\n\u003e until the problem is fixed.\n\n### Run the Jupyter notebook\n- Start Jupyter: `jupyter notebook`\n- Your browser should start and you can select the analysis notebook.\n\n## Citation\nIf you use this work, please cite the specific version using its DOI and the metadata provided in the\n[CITATION file](CITATION.cff).
