Add the downloaded file is_email.php to your project\r\n1.  In your scripts use it like this:\r\n\r\n```php\r\n\trequire_once 'is_email.php';\r\n\tif (is_email($email)) echo \"$email is a valid email address\";\r\n```\r\n\r\n1.  If you want to return detailed diagnostic error codes then you can ask\r\nis_email to do so. Something like this should work:\r\n\r\n```php\r\n\trequire_once 'is_email.php';\r\n\t$email = 'dominic@sayers.cc';\r\n\t$result = is_email($email, true, true);\r\n\r\n\tif ($result === ISEMAIL_VALID) {\r\n\t\techo \"$email is a valid email address\";\r\n\t} else if ($result \u003c ISEMAIL_THRESHOLD) {\r\n\t\techo \"Warning! $email has unusual features (result code $result)\";\r\n\t} else {\r\n\t\techo \"$email is not a valid email address (result code $result)\";\r\n\t}\r\n```\r\n\r\n1.
