Then I discovered that all of the notes are stored in a plain text file on the Kindle, I set out to find a way to copy them to my computer for backup and reviewing\n\n== Uses\n\n* List all of the books you have notes for\n* Export your kindle notes to org-mode files, one file per book\n* Export your kindle notes to CouchDB\n\n== List Books\n\nThe bin/list_books.rb script can be used to list all of the books you have notes for and how many notes you have.\n\n== Notes for book\n\nThe bin/notes_for_book.rb script will take a book name and output all of the notes for that specific book.\n\n== Export notes to CouchDB\n\nUsing bin/setup_couch.rb and bin/import_into_couchdb.rb you can add all of your notes into CouchDB.
