Because I need one for my other project,\nMabhathu Tulab (A student's place of research) which\nis an Arabic - Arabic dictionary, similar to http://baheth.info\nbut better of course ;) Its main feature is that the\nuser may click on any word of a dictionary entry that may then\nbe further explained by an overlay.\n\nHow?\n====\n\nIt seems no-one has implemented one in JavaScript yet, for\ngood reason I imagine. The ISRI stemmer as implemented by the\nNLTK project seems like a very straight forward stemmer, nothing\ntoo complicated and time consuming for my needs. This project\ntherefore aims to port the python script into javascript.\n\nPlans\n=====\n\nHopefully I can find some time to increase accuracy. Some words\ncan be derived from multiple possible theoretical roots so these\ncould be enumerated in the return value.
