It works just by pressing the start/enter button.\n\nYou press the button at each stroke (or touch the screen if the device has a touch-screen).\nAfter 3 strokes the average stroke rate is displayed. You can continue measuring the strokes to increase precision.\n\nIf you do not press the button for 5 seconds, the measuring restarts at the next press.\n\nIt is meant to by used by the cox in the boat.
