Grunt Roy\n\nInvokes the [Roy](http://roy.brianmckenna.org/) compiler through\n[Grunt](http://gruntjs.com). [Roy](http://roy.brianmckenna.org/) is a\nfunctional programming language that compiles to JavaScript.\n\nThe [roy package](https://npmjs.org/package/roy) is not listed as a\ndependency for this package. Therefore, you must have it installed\nbefore using this Grunt plugin. Note that it is recommended to use the\nversion of Roy specified in the `devDependencies` of this package, but\nother versions may also work.\n\n## Getting Started\nFrom the same directory as your project's `Gruntfile.js` and `package.json`\nfile, install this plugin with the following command.\n\n```bash\nnpm install grunt-roy --save-dev\n```\n\nOnce that's done, add the following line to your project's `Gruntfile.js`\nfile.\n\n```js\ngrunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-roy');\n```\n\nIf the plugin has been installed correctly, running `grunt --help` at\nthe command line should list the newly-installed plugin's task or tasks.\nIn addition, the plugin should be listed in package.json as a\n`devDependency`, which ensures that it will be installed whenever the\n`npm install` command is run.\n\n## The \"roy\" task\n\n### Overview\nIn your project's Gruntfile, add a section named `roy` to the data\nobject passed into `grunt.initConfig()`.\n\n```js\ngrunt.initConfig({\n  roy: {\n    app: {\n      src: ['lib/**/*.roy'],\n      dest: 'public/javascripts',\n      options: {\n        strict: true,\n        sourceMap: true\n      }\n    }\n  }\n})\n```\n\n### Options\n\n#### options.strict\nType: `Boolean`\nDefault value: `false`\n\nA Boolean value that when true will insert `\"use strict\";` into the\ncompiled JavaScript.\n\n#### options.sourceMap\nType: `Boolean`\nDefault value: `false`\n\nA Boolean value that when true will generate a source map file\ncorresponding to each generated JavaScript file. Additionally, the\noriginal Roy source file will be copied to the destination to be made\navailable for the source mapping.\n\nNote that the source mapping URL will be appended to the compiled\nJavaScript file. The value of this URL will be relative so that it may\nreference the source map residing in the same directory. The reason this\nworks is because if you include the JavaScript file with a script tag,\nthe src attribute of the script tag will be used as the base path for\nthe source mapping URL.\n\n#### options.nodejs\nType: `Boolean`\nDefault value: `false`\n\nA Boolean value that when true will not wrap the compiled JavaScript in\nan immediately-invoked function expression. Additionally, Roy's `export`\nkeyword will map to the Nodejs `exports` object.
