You can perform isolated parts of the setup process by running\nindividual scripts found in `setup` as well as the ones found in the `setup`\ndirectories in specific tags.\n\n## rcm\n\nThis repo uses [rcm] for management. It's pretty neat, you should check it\nout.\n\n[rcm]: https://github.com/thoughtbot/rcm\n\nIt also heavily uses the tag feature of rcm. It's really only for\norganizational purposes, but it also means that you _could_ do neat things\nlike pull down parts of my dotfiles if you'd like:\n\n```\ngit clone git@github.com:fabianoleittes/dotfiles.git ~/dotfiles\nrcup -d ~/dotfiles -x README.md -x rcrc -t git\n```\n\n## repo organization\n\n`rcm` will symlink all files into place, keeping the folder structure relative\nto the tag root. However, our `rcrc` is explicitly ignoring a few things:\n\n- `Brewfile`s are the homebrew dependencies for a specific tag, and so don't\n  need to be symlinked.\n- Anything named `setup` (or in a directory with that name) is assumed to be\n  part of the general setup process, and so will not be symlinked.\n\nThese ignore patterns are being controlled by the `EXCLUDES` key in my\n[`rcrc`][rcrc].\n\n[rcrc]: https://github.com/fabianoleittes/dotfiles/blob/master/rcrc\n\nAdditionally, I'm using the `UNDOTTED` key in my `rcrc` to make sure that\n`Library` files aren't symlinked into `.Library`. This means I can do things\nlike add Xcode color schemes, or LaunchAgents into my dotfiles and have them\nsymlinked into place properly.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Ffabianoleittes%2Fdotfiles","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Ffabianoleittes%2Fdotfiles","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Ffabianoleittes%2Fdotfiles/lists"}
