Clone the repository:\n\n```bash\n   git clone https://github.com/fairDataSociety/huggingface-vectorizer.git\n   cd huggingface-vectorizer\n```\n\n2. Install the required Python packages:\n\n```bash\n   pip install -r requirements.txt\n```\n\n### Running the Server\n\nTo run the server locally, execute the following command:\n\n```bash\n    python app.py --model-name sentence-transformers/all-MiniLM-L6-v2\n```\n\nBy default, the server will listen on port 9876. You can customize the port by modifying the code in `app.py`.\n\n### Running with Docker\n\nYou can also run the server in a Docker container. First, build the Docker image:\n\n```bash\n    docker build -t fairdatasociety/huggingface-vectorizer .\n```\n\nRun the container:\n\n```bash\n    docker run -p 9876:9876 fairdatasociety/huggingface-vectorizer --model-name sentence-transformers/all-MiniLM-L6-v2\n```\n\n### API Endpoints\n\n- `/health`: A health check endpoint that returns \"OK\" when the server is running.\n\n- `/vectorize`: Accepts a JSON request with a \"query\" field containing the text to vectorize. Returns the embeddings as a JSON response.\n\n## Usage\n\nYou can send POST requests to the `/vectorize` endpoint to obtain embeddings for text.
