So for example to render\nthe Argo CD chart:\n\n```nix\n      argo = (kubelib.buildHelmChart {\n        name = \"argo\";\n        chart = (nixhelm.charts { inherit pkgs; }).argoproj.argo-cd;\n        namespace = \"argo\";\n      });\n```\n\nIf you want to use this setup within Argo CD, check out [cake](https://github.com/farcaller/cake).\n\n## Using the cache\n\nThis repository and all the charts within are publicly cached at `cachix` as\n[nixhelm](https://app.cachix.org/cache/nixhelm). Here's how you can quickly\nenable it in your nix installation:\n\n### Without flakes\n\n```sh\nnix-env -iA cachix -f https://cachix.org/api/v1/install\n```\n\n### With flakes\n\n```sh\nnix profile install nixpkgs#cachix\n```\n\n### Then enable the cache\n\n```sh\ncachix use nixhelm\n```\n\nAlternatively, manually add this to `/etc/nix/nix.conf`:\n\n```nix\nsubstituters = https://cache.nixos.org https://nixhelm.cachix.org\ntrusted-public-keys = cache.nixos.org-1:6NCHdD59X431o0gWypbMrAURkbJ16ZPMQFGspcDShjY= nixhelm.cachix.org-1:esqauAsR4opRF0UsGrA6H3gD21OrzMnBBYvJXeddjtY=\n```\n\n## Adding new charts\n\nClone the repository and run the following command from within it:\n\n```sh\nnix run .#helmupdater -- init $REPO $REPO_NAME/$CHART_NAME --commit\n```\n\nWhere `REPO` is the url to the chart, `REPO_NAME` is the short name for the\nrepository and the `CHART_NAME` is the name of the chart in the repository.\n\nFor example, if you want to add [bitnami's\nnginx](https://github.com/bitnami/charts/tree/main/bitnami/nginx), run the\nfollowing command:\n\n```sh\nnix run .#helmupdater -- init \"https://charts.bitnami.com/bitnami\" bitnami/nginx --commit\n```\n\nThe command will create the properly formatted commit that you can then submit\nas a pull request to the repo.\n\n## License\n\nApache-2.0\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Ffarcaller%2Fnixhelm","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Ffarcaller%2Fnixhelm","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Ffarcaller%2Fnixhelm/lists"}
