If the defaults don't work for you, declare your overrides ***after*** calling the mixin:\n\n\t.my-spinner {\n    \t@include spinner();\n        vertical-align: top;\n       \tmargin-right: .5em;\n    }\n\n### Customizing Spinners\nSize, border-width, -style, -color, and the speed of the animation can be customized. \n\n\n#### Adjusting Size\nBy default, Spinners are set to be `1em` wide and high, so a spinner will size proportionally to its context. To customize its size, you may use any valid dimensional unit such as `px`, `em`, or `rem`:\n\n\t.my-spinner {\n\t\t@include spinner(1.25em);\n\t}\n\n#### Adjusting border (width, style and thickness)\t\nFor adjusting the border, you may use any valid shorthand css border declaration or individual `border-{property} {value}` (no colon!) pairs:\n\n\t.my-spinner {\n\t\t@include spinner(3px solid #ccc);\n\t}\n\t\n\n\t\n\t.my-spinner {\n\t\t@include spinner(border-width 3px, border-style solid);\t\n\t}\n\t\n#### Adjusting animation speed\nTo customize a spinner's animation speed, pass the number of seconds for one full rotation:\n\n\t.my-spinner {\n\t\t@include spinner(.6s);\n\t}\n\t\n\t\n#### Adjusting the Background\nThe background, i.e. the perceived non-rotating part of a spinner, is set to be transparent by default.
