Intergalactic Workflow Commission\n\n[![Galaxy Workflow Linting and Tests](https://github.com/galaxyproject/iwc/actions/workflows/workflow_test.yml/badge.svg?branch=main)](https://github.com/galaxyproject/iwc/actions/workflows/workflow_test.yml/badge.svg?branch=main)\n[![Gitter](https://badges.gitter.im/galaxyproject/iwc.svg)](https://gitter.im/galaxyproject/iwc?utm_source=badge\u0026utm_medium=badge\u0026utm_campaign=pr-badge\u0026utm_content=badge)\n\n## The IWC maintains high-quality Galaxy Workflows\n\nWorkflows are categorized in the [workflows](workflows/) directory, and listed in [Dockstore](https://dockstore.org/organizations/iwc) and [WorkflowHub](https://workflowhub.eu/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93\u0026q=IWC#workflows).\n\nAll workflows are reviewed and tested before publication and with every new Galaxy release.\nDeposited workflows follow [best practices](https://planemo.readthedocs.io/en/latest/best_practices_workflows.html) and are versioned using github releases.\nWorkflows also contain important metadata, such as:\n\n- License\n- Author\n- Institutes\n\nAdditionally the IWC will collect further best practices, tips and tricks, FAQs and assist the community in designing high-quality Galaxy workflows.\n\n## Importing Workflows into Galaxy\n\nTo import IWC workflows into your Galaxy instance use the TRS workflow search in the Galaxy interface.\nClick on \"Workflows\", \"Import\" and click on the \"search form\" link.\nSelect a TRS server from the drop-down menu and enter `organization:iwc` (for workflowhub.eu) or `organization:iwc-workflows` (for Dockstore) in the text box.\n\n![Workflow Import GIF](static/iwc-import.gif)\n\n## Accessing IWC workflows via usegalaxy.* servers\n\nAll IWC workflows are automatically installed onto usegalaxy.* servers (i.e. [Galaxy Main](https://usegalaxy.org), [Galaxy Europe](https://usegalaxy.eu), [Galaxy Australia](https://usegalaxy.org.au)).
