The algorithm is based on Method 1 in\nAustralian Standard AS 3959 (2009)--*Construction of buildings in\nbushfire-prone areas*.\n\nDependencies \n------------\n\nThis toolbox is developed and tested within ArcGIS 10.2 that\nintegrates with Python 2.7 and Numpy 1.6.2.\n\nFor more information on installation of the toolbox, see\n[docs/install.rst](https://github.com/GeoscienceAustralia/BAL/blob/master/docs/install.rst),\nor the [User\nGuide](https://github.com/GeoscienceAustralia/BAL/blob/master/docs/BAL.pdf).\n\nFor detailed instructions on installation of these dependencies,\nplease see the documentation for each individual library.\n\n* [Python](https://www.python.org/)- v2.7 preferred\n* [Numpy](http://www.numpy.org/)- v1.6.2 preferred\n* [Arcpy in ArcGIS 10.2](http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.2/index.html#//000v000000v7000000/)\n\nUsage\n-----\n\nFirst download the repository into your local computer,\ne.g. C:\\\\bal. where you will find **BAL.tbx**. Then add the toolbox\ninto ArcGIS 10.2 following the steps below:\n\n* Open the ArcToolBox window. \n\n* Right click **ArcToolbox** at the top of the window.\n\n* Select **Add Toolbox...**, a dialog box is open. \n\n* In the dialog box, navigate to the location of the package, for\n  example C:\\\\bal.\n\n* Select **BAL.tbx** and click **Open**, a new toolbox called **BAL**\n  is added to the ArcToolbox.\n\nTesting the installation\n------------------------\n\nThe code includes a suite of unit tests that ensure elements of the\ncode base work as expected. The code should be tested before running\nthe toolbox. Users will need to install the Nose package to run these\ntests.\n\nThe test suite can be run from the main directory. On Windows, run the\nrun_test_all.cmd script from the main BAL directory.\n\n\nLicense\n-------\n\nThis repository is licensed under an Apache Version 2.0 license. See\nthe [LICENSE deed](LICENSE) in this repository for details.\n\n\n\nContacts\n-------- \n\nFor assistance with this package, please contact hazards@ga.gov.au\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fgeoscienceaustralia%2Fbal","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fgeoscienceaustralia%2Fbal","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fgeoscienceaustralia%2Fbal/lists"}
