It is created for running \nexperiments where it is desired to run multiple methods on multiple datasets \nusing multiple parameters. It includes automated processing of result files \ninto result tables and figures. \n\n``abed`` is available on PyPI::\n\n    $ pip install abed\n\n``abed`` was created as a way to automate all the tedious work necessary to \nset up proper benchmarking experiments. It also removes much of the hassle by \nusing a single configuration file for the experimental setup. A core feature \nof ``abed`` is that it doesn't care about which language the tested methods are \nwritten in.\n\n``abed`` can create output tables as either simple txt files, or as html pages \nusing the excellent `DataTables \u003chttps://datatables.net/\u003e`_ plugin. To support \noffline operation the necessary DataTables files are packaged with ``abed``.\n\nDocumentation\n-------------\n\nFor ``abed``'s documentation, see `the documentation \n\u003chttps://gjjvdburg.github.io/abed/docs.html\u003e`_.\n\nScreenshots\n-----------\n\n|figure1|_ |figure2|_ |figure3|_\n\n.. _figure1: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GjjvdBurg/abed/master/.github/rank_plots.png\n.. _figure2: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GjjvdBurg/abed/master/.github/tables.png\n.. _figure3: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GjjvdBurg/abed/master/.github/tables_time.png\n\n.. |figure1| image:: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GjjvdBurg/abed/master/.github/rank_plots.png\n        :alt: Rank plots in Abed\n        :width: 32%\n        :align: middle\n\n.. |figure2| image:: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GjjvdBurg/abed/master/.github/tables.png\n        :alt: Result tables in Abed\n\t:width: 32%\n\t:align: middle\n\n.. |figure3| image:: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GjjvdBurg/abed/master/.github/tables_time.png\n        :alt: Result tables in Abed (time)\n\t:width: 32%\n\t:align: middle\n\n\nNotes\n-----\n\nThe current version of ``abed`` is very usable. However, it is still considered \nbeta software, as it is not yet completely documented and some robustness \nimprovements are planned. For a similar and more mature project which works \nwith R see: `BatchExperiments \u003chttps://github.com/tudo-r/BatchExperiments\u003e`_.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fgjjvdburg%2Fabed","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fgjjvdburg%2Fabed","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fgjjvdburg%2Fabed/lists"}
