[Rollup](https://rollupjs.org) setup for bundling Web Sites built with [Marko](https://markojs.com) and [Eleventy](https://www.11ty.dev).\n\nIf the above description does not speak to you, try one of these for size :\n\n-   This is a [Jamstack](https://jamstack.org) dual _SSG / SSR_ frontend framework using Rollup\n-   It transforms your \"pages\" into a modern web \"\\_site\" ready for Prod\n-   It is the best bundler (you're not using) combined with the simplest \\\n    SSG (you want to use) and the fastest UI lib (you've never heard of)\n-   In the end, it is nothing more than a well documented Rollup config\n\nOr maybe listing what _it's not_ and _doesn't do_ will give you a better idea :\n\n-   This _is not_ yet another framework to learn (the CLI is Rollup's, the configuration is Eleventy's)\n-   The tools _are not_ hidden, you interact directly with Eleventy, PostCSS, Terser, Babel, CSSnano,...\n-   It _does not_ force any JS in the output (unless you use Marko's client-side components, of course)\n-   You _will not_ find any mention of SPA, routes, servers, nor any GladeJS special API or `\u003cLink\u003e` tag\n\nThis project requires [NodeJS](https://nodejs.org) v14.x or superior and the included \"npm\" CLI v6.14 or superior. \\\nIt is tested on the latest versions of NodeJS v14, v15 \u0026 v16 on MacOS, Ubuntu and Windows.\n\n## Installation\n\nThe complete installation instructions are in this section, don't look for any more details, it's all here.\n\n### Automatic (not ready yet)\n\nA \"@gladejs/create\" automatic initialization package is planned for the v1.0 release. \\\nIt will allow for a simple \"`npm init @gladejs MyWebSite`\" installation, but not yet.\n\n### Manual (in 3 easy steps)\n\n1. Create a new NodeJS project \u0026 install GladeJS as a \"devDependency\" :\n\n```bash\nmkdir MyWebSite \u0026\u0026 cd MyWebSite\n```\n\n```bash\nnpm init -y \u0026\u0026 npm i -D gladejs\n```\n\n2. Copy the GladeJS Rollup configuration file into your project folder :\n\n```bash\nnpx shx cp node_modules/gladejs/rollup.config.mjs .\n```\n\n## Documentation [WIP]\n\nThe bare minimum to get you started is here, but you'll find detailed information in the [\"docs\" folder](./docs/).\n\n### Rollup Configuration\n\nA single \"`rollup.config.mjs`\" file is used to configure your build process. \\\nIf you are not a NodeJS and/or Rollup guru, fret not, the defaults are just fine. \\\nNevertheless, [give it a quick glance](./rollup.config.mjs), it's relatively organised and documented.\n\n### NPM Command Scripts\n\nGladeJS is directly controlled via NPM scripts, using the following commands :\n\n-   \"`npm run vite`\" to run ViteJS \"watch mode\" for fast development\n-   \"`npm run live`\" to run Rollup \"watch mode\" for live development\n-   \"`npm run build`\" to bundle your project without any minification\n-   \"`npm run clean`\" to delete all files \u0026 folders created by GladeJS\n-   \"`npm run build:prod`\" to bundle your project **with** minification\n\n### Pages \u0026 Components\n\nThe files \u0026 folders structure is marked by a distinctive lack of imagination :\n\n-   Web Pages go into the \"`pages`\" input dir and Marko UI Components into the \"`components`\" dir.\n-   There is \"`layouts`\" for 11ty Layouts, \"`includes`\" for Includes and \"`datastores`\" for Data Files.\n-   CSS Styles are picked up from any \"`style.{css|less|sass|scss|styl}`\" file placed next to any \\\n    \"`index.{html|md|marko|11ty.js|liquid|njk|hbs|mustache|ejs|haml|pug|jstl}`\" page.\n\n### Assets \u0026 Resources\n\nStatic assets are pulled in using relative, absolute or NPM package file paths :\n\n-   Using the standard ESM \"`import`\" keyword at the top of any page for CSS, JS and images.\n-   Using the \"`src`\" attribute or any normal HTML resource tag (\"`script`\", \"`style`\", \"`link`\").\n\nCSS \u0026 JS resources are \"swallowed\" by Rollup to be bundled, chunked and pressed.\n\n-   Don't forget to inject them back into the HTML HEAD tag using [\"`\u003cgladejs-rollup /\u003e`\"](./packages/rollup/src/gladejs-rollup.marko).\n-   Use the `name`, `type`, `scoped` \u0026 `rollup=\"ignore|bundle\"` attributes for more control.\n\nNow, enter [the GladeJS \"docs\"](./docs/), follow [the floating possum around 11ty](https://www.11ty.dev/docs/) or [RTFMD (Read The Fabulous Marko Docs)](https://markojs.com/docs/getting-started/).\n\n## Contributing [WIP]\n\nWhile still in early development, everything is in place to receive your contributions.\n\n-   Get acquainted with the project [PHILOSOPHY](./PHILOSOPHY.md) and general direction\n-   Consult the [ROADMAP](./ROADMAP.md) to see where things stand and what's the master plan\n-   Look for low hanging fruits in the [\"Open Issues Status\"](https://github.com/gladejs/gladejs/projects/1) project board\n-   Read the [CONTRIBUTING](./CONTRIBUTING.md) guidelines carefully, they are short and to the point\n\nYou are now ready to contribute, so ... where is the code ?
